AML, BSA, OFAC, KYC Compliance Training Program Outcome: A series of courses, targeted for BSA Officers and analysts, designed to provide an in-depth look at BSA compliance, including the four pillars of a BSA program, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Customer Identification Programs, and Currency Transactions Reporting. Scope included OFAC guidelines: Addressing Risks and Red Flags targeted for new and experienced financial institution personnel providing a comprehensive and efficient overview of Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements, risks, transaction procedures, and compliance considerations. This engaging learning experience featured: interactive learning activities; and role-specific scenario-based challenges, and case studies. State Farm Insurance Company is a family of insurance and financial services companies that together serve tens of millions of customers in the U.S. Our many lines of business together offer over 100 products. Over 18,000 State Farm Agents serve 82 million policies and accounts.
Enterprise Knowledge Management Implementation Outcome: State Farm needed help in the area of Knowledge Management for their newly acquired Watson computer system (a question answering computer system capable of answering questions posed in natural language, developed in IBM.) State Farm’s strategy was to eliminate their Broker/Agent 800# support line and replace it with IBM’s Watson voice activated intelligent Q/A engine. Every day hundreds of thousands of brokers/agents calls are presently handled by call center that is inefficient and expensive. Teledec developed standardized (Template based) information taxonomy and architecture to upload the content of State Farm’s entire rule/rate manuals to replace the call center with Watson. Our task was to populate Watson knowledge database with formatted and updated content strictly adhering to Watson’s database format with the goal of answering Agent questions instantly, using Watson’s sophisticated intelligent logic and algorithm. Also covered were latest regulations that impact State Farm credit union that deals with ACH transactions introducing basic elements and processes associated with ACH network.

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is the largest customer-owned health insurance company in the United States, and an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. HCSC / Blue Cross Blue Shield required Change Management Training for their entire corporate workforce due to ACA (Affordable Care Act).
ACA Regulatory Compliance Training Program Outcome: These courses were designed to emphasize the importance of communication in the process of change management driven by Affordable Care Act (ACA) in order to overcome resistance to change. Deliverables included collaboration with stakeholders, Instructional design, technical Writing, presentation graphics and stitching the complete course(s) in e-learning format for online delivery. These courses were of two types – one to be delivered to ALL HCSC employees, and other for Managerial staff only – presenting two different views of the ACA regulations, but from two different perspectives.
Compliance Training: Pharmaceutical Industry
Baxter Pharmaceuticals is a $16 Billion dollar pharmaceutical company with a global presence. Baxter’s Bio-Science division needed to communicate to the scientific community in (as well as their sales force), the functioning of a new product they were launching in molecular detail.
Bio-Science / Pharmaceutical Product Training Program Outcome: Deliverables included collaboration with client sales staff and product scientists to create computer generated 3D models of the drug molecules with animated representation of how the blood plasma molecules transferred and progressed in their native environment within the parameters of FDA guidelines.

British Petroleum (BP) is a multinational energy giant with presence in 70+ countries worldwide. Their US operation, specifically their Corporate Fleet division was managed out of their regional headquarters in Chicago.
Fleet Management and Drivers Safety Training Program Outcome: BP owns and operates world’s largest corporate Fleet. This means that BP’s entire global staff depends on the ability to manage the practical demands of vehicle selection and management, procurement and maintenance. Teledec designed, delivered and hosted BP’s corporate fleet portal that provided analysis of BP Fleet Management philosophy, as well as an in-depth understanding of Vehicle Selection and Procurement, Maintenance Management and relevant systems.
Deliverables included turnkey delivery of the online drivers education programs (to meet OSHA and Federal Hazardous Material transportation regulations) and global fleet policies, including instructional design, technical writing, video production and hosting of their training programs in Teledec’s custom Learning Management System (LMS).
Compliance Training: Industrial & Medical Gases Industry
Airgas, Inc., is the largest American distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases. Transportation of company’s products and services were governed by the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act (HMTA) to protect against the risks to life, property, and the environment that are inherent in the transportation of hazardous material in intrastate, interstate, and foreign commerce.
OSHA, HAZMAT and Operational Safety Training Programs Outcome: Teledec designed and delivered a series of training courses highlighting OSHA standards, directives (instructions for compliance officers), and standard interpretations (official letters of interpretation of the standards) related to compressed gas and equipment. These courses included Hazardous Material and compressed gases storage and handling, and commercial driving operations. Besides safety training, Teledec also delivered sales, operation and general safety training courses for online and classroom delivery. Deliverables included creation different learning strategy for each discipline – Sales, Operation, Hazmat transportation, cylinder handling and distribution, and employee familiarity with latest government Hazmat regulatory guidelines. Some courses were designed for Instructor Led delivery, while others for web-based or blended learning.

Kraft food production and factory operation is strictly governed by local, regional and international Food and Drug administration regulations.
Food Services HCCP Compliance Training Program Outcome: Teledec delivered a diverse matrix of training courses encompassing every aspect of client’s operation from purchasing, receiving, storage, processing, shipping, distribution and sanitation. Training included general food safety topics; but specific to specific operation and procedures. Courses emphasized the importance specific factors relevant to a learner’s job function. (For example – It might not be as significant for a process line cook to be trained in the proper chemical concentrations for sanitizing). Deliverables included developing new online training programs as well as modifying old training material / courses, to comply with the latest FDA guidelines, locally and internationally.
